They just fell off.

I clean the surface with ethanol and let it dry before applying the weights.
So the other day i notice three stick on wheel weights lying on the floor of my garage next to the front wheel of my tiger xcx.
I keep loosing my stick on wheel weights.
I wasn t thrilled with them being on there anyways after i had a local shop put a pair of shinko 705s on a couple of weeks ago.
Then i cut a rectangle w rounded corners stick it to the weights then burnish it down to the wheel tucked close around the weights.
Has anybody else had their wheel balance weights fall off.
Sometimes on a new or refurbished rim the weight will apparently stick well but over a matter of days or a week or so will fall off as the paint or lacquer surface is still curing which can lift the weight.

Find a place that has perfect is it a brand of weights stick on weights.
If so did you have them do inside mount knock on weights to resolve the issue.
Some of them stick ok but some fall off during a ride.
I actually had to get a case from chrysler to get this covered under warranty.

As for them blaming it on your driving i would tell them to do their job and not worry about your driving but thats just me.
My advice is make sure they are cleaning the wheel before the slap them on if not the weight is not going to stick to the wheel the way it is supposed to leading to it coming off as you are driving.
The powdercoat was a few weeks old and the stick on weights keep falling off before i even put them on the truck.
