Structure Scan 3d Not Working

Turn off network under sonar still does not work and structure scan on thenhds10 at the bow does not work.

The structurescan 3d transducer should be installed within approximately 0 3 m 1 ft of the broadband sounder transducer to get optimum performance from the downscan overlay feature. That is using the structure scan as source. The 3d transducer has 2 outputs which carry the signal from the side crystals and the down 2d crystals separately. So i tried adjusting the transducer and checking my installation while still on the water.

Hi all i recently installed a lowrance hds 9 gen 3 with 3d structure scan and it will not work. Thus the 2 inputs into the 3d box for the respective cables off the transducer. Transducer 1 gets bottom lock instantly but transducer 2 constantly blinks and will not find bottom lowrance have been helpful sending me a new transducer which made no difference and then a new 3d structure scan processor unit which i installed today and took for a test. Last weekend the structure scan stopped working.

So i called simrad tech and i was told the unit would not work with the transducer ad would not until a future software update is developed which may occur next. I went out today and played with it for several hours but still nothing. Appears network must be on both units for the bow unit to share the structure scan transducer makes sense.

Previous thread. When i tried the sonar or the side scan feature i just received static on the screen. The unit won t read the depth in the overlay. 3d structure scan down issue.
